When a refund needs attention

If a refund cannot reach the original payment method or is returned after it was sent, the order shows Refund needs attention. Open it from Purchases to review the amount and contact support for the next step.

RocketVault keeps the refund open and holds the seller's proceeds while the result is checked. Do not place another order to recover a refund.

The original purchase price, shipping, tax, and refund history remain visible on the order. If the original refund cannot be completed, support will explain the available next step and confirm the destination before sending any replacement payment.

A replacement bank payment first appears as Processing. The buyer confirms it after the matching deposit appears. If the bank returns that payment, Refund needs attention appears again.

Partial refunds

A confirmed partial refund reduces the amount that can still be refunded. The order timeline shows the amount already returned and the remaining amount.

While a refund is pending, RocketVault prevents another refund for the same amount. A refund appears as confirmed only after the payment service confirms it.

When the order has not shipped

If the full payment is confirmed as refunded before shipment, RocketVault removes the card from Incoming. The card remains connected to the order as Purchase refunded, so the history is still clear, but it cannot be marked received or listed. Partial refunds leave the incoming card in place because the order may still be on its way.

For the seller, the original sale stays in the order history. The card returns to the Vault with a new draft listing, ready for the seller to review before putting it back up for sale.

Seller balances

Orders with an unresolved returned refund stay in Pending settlement. They do not become payable just because the refund was returned. The order and seller balance use the same Refund needs attention label.

Payment, delivery, refund, and payout are separate steps. A successful payment alone does not complete an order.

Availability

RocketVault Marketplace supports U.S. buyers, U.S. sellers, U.S. delivery addresses, and U.S. dollars. Anyone can browse public inventory without an account. The storefront shows whether checkout is available; existing paid orders retain their receipts, recovery links, and refund history.
