Getting Started with RocketVault
Set up your account, explore the dashboard, and learn the basics of the RocketVault sports card platform.
Welcome to RocketVault
RocketVault is the all-in-one platform for sports card collectors and sellers. Whether you're managing a personal collection or running a resale business, RocketVault helps you scan, price, organize, and sell your cards faster than ever.
Creating Your Account
Step 01
Open RocketVault
Go to app.rocketvault.io, or download RocketVault on the Apple App Store for iPhone or iPad. Every new signup gets 14 days of Seller access automatically — no credit card, no coupon code required.
Step 02
Sign Up
Sign up with email and password, or use Continue with Google for one-click setup. We use Firebase Authentication, so your password is never stored on our servers.
Step 03
Verify Your Email
If you signed up with email/password, check your inbox for a verification link. Email verification helps secure your account and unlocks all features.
Step 04
Choose a Plan
Your account starts with 14 days of Seller access automatically — including eBay publishing and import. After that, your account moves to the Free plan (100 cards, kept forever) unless you upgrade. Paid plans get 20% off when billed annually. See the Pricing page for full plan details.
Step 05
Explore the Dashboard
After signing in, you'll land on your Command Center — your home base in RocketVault. New accounts see a Get set up to sell checklist with four steps: upload your first cards, review what the AI found, connect your eBay account, and publish your first listing. Each step completes automatically as your account reaches that state, and the checklist disappears once you've finished (you can also dismiss it).
Understanding the Dashboard
The Dashboard surfaces the work that's queued up for you and the live state of your portfolio:
- Actions Queue — Cards that need attention, ready to publish, sell-now signals, hot deals, and price drops
- KPI Band — Portfolio value, unrealized P&L, active listings, and 30-day sales
- Value distribution — Sport exposure across your book
- Inventory pipeline — Ingested → Ready → Listed → Sold counts
- Refresh activity and Event log — Recent listing refreshes and dashboard alerts
For a deeper walkthrough, see the Dashboard Guide.
Navigating the App
The Command Center button sits at the top of the sidebar, with the RocketVault Agent just beneath it. Below that, the sidebar is organized into two groups:
| Section | What it does |
|---|---|
| Command Center | Your home base — daily briefing, actions queue, KPIs |
| Vault → All Cards | Unified inventory across Available, Drafts, Active listings, and History tabs |
| Vault → Upload | Add new cards via single capture, multi-card scan, image files in a batch, or — on the RocketVault web app with a paid plan — a ZIP file |
| Vault → Lots | Bundle cards into lots for sale |
| Vault → Collection | Track cards you keep (not for sale) |
| Vault → Wishlist | Cards you want to acquire, with eBay deep links |
| Research → Browse Sets | Walk the RocketVault card database (millions of cards) |
| Research → Search Cards | Search the catalog directly |
| Research → Grading | ROI-aware grading recommendations (Pro tier) |
| Settings | Configure your account, eBay connection, selling defaults, and billing |
A status indicator at the bottom of the sidebar shows live eBay sync state. The All Cards entry carries a small badge with the number of items ready to publish right now. On desktop, press Cmd-K (Ctrl-K on Windows) anywhere to open the RocketVault Agent as a side panel.
Mobile Friendly
On mobile, the sidebar collapses into a bottom navigation bar with Home, Vault, a center Add Cards upload button, Issues, and More. Add Cards opens the server-backed Multi-Card Capture flow for inventory you already own. Tap More for the full grouped sidebar and the separate Scan for a Deal card-show tool. See the Mobile Guide for details.
What's Next?
Now that you're set up, you're ready to start adding cards:
- Upload Your First Cards — Scan or photograph your cards (on mobile, try Multi-Card Scan to batch capture with your phone camera)
- Understand AI Identification — Learn how RocketAI identifies your cards and how to clear attention chips inline
- Set Up Pricing — Get instant market-based pricing
- Tour the Dashboard — Read your KPIs and actions queue
Note
RocketVault works best when you photograph both the front and back of each card. This gives RocketAI the most information to accurately identify your cards.
Start clean; review only exceptions
For a multi-card or ZIP upload, RocketVault shows photo-quality findings and gives you a front/back pairing check before you finish the batch. If an image is blurry, cropped, poorly lit, missing its mate, or paired with the wrong side, the batch review points to that card so you can retake or confirm only the affected scan. Complete the batch when you are happy with the approved and resolved cards; those cards then appear in your inventory together.
