Settings & Configuration
Configure your account, eBay connection, selling defaults, notifications, and review triggers — all from one grouped Settings page.
Overview
The Settings page lets you customize how RocketVault processes, prices, and lists your cards. Settings are organized into grouped sections — You, Connections, Selling defaults, Notifications, and Advanced. Most changes save automatically when you click out of a field; panels that batch changes show a yellow dot until you click Save All at the top right.
Open it from Settings in the sidebar, or deep-link straight to a section with /settings?tab=billing.
What's in each section
The section list adapts to your account — admin-only categories are hidden for normal users, and anything with no settings to configure is collapsed.
You → Account
Your workspace preference, display name, email, password, and phone number, plus email verification and the account-deletion flow. Choose Collector, Seller, or Both to tailor navigation order, onboarding, dashboard module priority, the first inventory destination, and the action shown when your workspace is empty. Collector starts from Collection and prioritizes portfolio/set work; Seller starts from sale inventory and prioritizes activation, listing health, and financials; Both starts from all inventory. This is a reversible presentation preference: it never changes data, plan access, or marketplace configuration, and lower-priority modules and tools remain reachable. Existing accounts default to Both.
You → Plan & Billing
The full billing surface — current plan, card-usage bar, plan comparison grid with in-app upgrade/downgrade buttons, Powered by RocketVault branding toggle (with the active discount displayed), card-slot pack purchases, and the cancel flow. Payment methods are managed through Stripe.
Connections → eBay Connection
Connect to eBay for publishing and order sync. The panel surfaces the eBay seller-account prerequisites you have to complete on eBay's side first (seller registration, business policies, shipping-from address) — RocketVault publishes through eBay's Sell APIs and these have to be set up before any listing call will succeed.
Once connected, the eBay panel exposes:
- Business policies — Fulfillment, payment, return — picked from your live eBay policies. RocketVault refreshes an empty or stale policy list automatically when you open Integrations; Refresh policies remains available for an immediate sync after a change in eBay. Policies are marketplace-specific, so changing your eBay region clears the previous region's selections and loads the correct list.
- Shipping profiles — Reusable named bundles for eBay business policies, shipping service, and cost. Create an ordered rule by value, category, or player; the first match wins and the default profile is the fallback. An explicit choice made for a draft or publish run overrides the matched profile. Existing price-threshold rules can be converted in place.
- Listing sync interval — Tier-gated. Free / Collector / Seller see "Once a day"; Pro adds 1h and 6h; Enterprise unlocks 15m and 30m. Sync Now is always available for an on-demand pull.
- Refresh pricing defaults — The default price-drop percentage the Refresh dialog pre-fills when you refresh stale listings. Adjustable per run in the dialog; every drop is clamped to your minimum listing price.
Note
eBay publishing and eBay import both require a Seller plan ($39.99/mo) or higher.
Warning
If eBay says the account is not eligible for Business Policies, RocketVault shows an Open eBay Business Policies action on every publishing surface. Complete enrollment and create payment, shipping, and return policies in eBay, then return to Settings → Integrations and select Refresh policies. RocketVault cannot enroll the seller on eBay's behalf.
Selling defaults → Pricing
Controls how cards are priced when they're scanned. Toggle whether RocketVault Pricing is the primary source, set a minimum price floor, configure base prices for veterans vs. rookies, and tweak multipliers for autographs, relics, and graded cards (PSA 9 / PSA 10). Per-sport multipliers cover cross-sport demand differences.
Selling defaults → Listing
Defaults that flow into the eBay listing description and bulk-publish form: title max length, listing duration, condition description, shipping info, handling time, emoji on/off, description style (Structured vs. AI Enhanced), tone, heading, shipping/returns/footer text, and which card details to include. Storage Location is included in descriptions by default so a sold-card packing workflow can identify the physical card; turn that detail off if buyers should not see it. Custom title templates can place it explicitly with {inventory_location}.
Selling defaults → Naming
Configures the file-naming convention used when you bulk upload paired front / back images. Set the front and back suffixes (default _F / _B), the separator character, and case sensitivity. The page shows a live filename preview.
Selling defaults → Lots
Defaults for the AI Lot Generator: cards per lot, default discount %, minimum lot value, and whether names auto-generate.
Notifications
One switch controls the daily briefing and the weekly briefing email. Turn it off here to stop both; the weekly email's one-click Unsubscribe link does the same thing. See Daily Briefing.
Advanced → Review triggers
Decides which cards land on the Needs Attention chip on the Cards page's Available tab. You can configure the auto-apply threshold, high/medium/low confidence cutoffs, the high-value review threshold (default $50), and the auto-confirm rules for parallels.
Admin only (Processing, Parallel, Market)
Admin-tier categories that govern the AI extraction pipeline, parallel-detection signal weights, and market intelligence parameters. Hidden from normal user accounts.
Saving changes
Most fields commit on blur — click out of the input or hit Enter and the change persists. For panels that batch (e.g. multi-field updates), the section shows an amber dot in the sidebar until you click Save All at the top of the page or Save {panel name} at the bottom of the panel.
The Reset All to Defaults button at the bottom of the sidebar wipes every category back to system defaults — type reset to confirm.
